Sorry to get this reminder out so late, but it’s been raining heavily again, and rain at Seraphin Station usually means no reliable internet at Seraphin Station, sigh…
Anyway, as usual, I’m doing one honey jar for issues related to relationships (and they don’t have to be romantic relationships) and another for prosperity/career/income. Since COVID has brought such massive change and instability to so many people’s lives and and income situations, I’ve been offering the prosperity honey jar as a pay-what-you-can service.
Work starts tonight, the 12th, but there is a little wiggle room and you can join up late as long as you still see spots available.
A participant recently shared a review of the service:
Unique and Helpful Service
I have been taking part in the Community Prosperity Jar for a few months now and have really enjoyed the experience. I really like the community aspect of it because it’s not just community as in a group of people sharing one honey jar, but a community on Discord as well. I’ve learned some things I wouldn’t have otherwise that have been really useful in terms of my magical education and enjoyed the interaction with the group. The jar itself has been really helpful in gradually opening up a difficult situation where I had an extremely unsupportive and uncommunicative academic advisor. I now have a new advisor and a new committee member who are both available and supportive. This was a situation I had been struggling with for a long time so it was amazing to have some people finally want to support me in my work after I’d been getting the cold shoulder from my advisor for years.
*Please note I have decided to restrict the Ascension Day blessing and cleansing rite you see on the calendar to existing clients only. That way I can focus on getting caught up after several back-to-back time-sucking internet service disruptions. If you are an existing client who wants to participate, hit me up on the Discord server before dawn my time (which is about 6 a.m.)
I will have the other services up shortly – it’s just taking me forever to do it via phone
St. Benedict has multiple feast days, depending on region and tradition, with his original feast day of March 21st having been moved in many church calendars because of Holy Week. However, the Benedictines still celebrate his feast day on the 21st of March, and it’s a great date to honor him or ask his intercession and aid.
Lights will be set the night of Sunday, March 21st. There is some wiggle room and you can join up after the work starts as long as you see that there are still spots left and it doesn’t say “sold out.”
St. Benedict is Catholicism’s exorcist par excellence, invoked for protection, driving away evil, and dodging the snares of the wily serpent, with the power to banish Satan himself in the name of God.
He’s the patron saint against poisoning, and he’s called on by those who need help living in right relationship with others, with God, with themselves, and/or with the world.
His traditional holy medal is recognizable by its highly unusual design and symbolism.
Among a host of other emblems and initialisms on it are the letters “VRS,” which stands for “vade retro, Satana,” or “get back, Satan.” In folk practice, however, it’s often used against less specific, even unknown evils, including human ones. So St. Benedict is invoked as an ally even when the “devils” in question don’t have brimstone breath.
This light setting service would be suitable if you want to call on St. Benedict’s aid to remove crossed conditions and unnatural blockages in your life.
It’s also suitable if you want to call on his aid to remove harmful people and/or harmful influences from your own life or the lives of your loved ones, such as children who have fallen in with a bad crowd and need someone watching their backs spiritually while they find the maturity and wherewithal to make more appropriate choices.
Or perhaps inertia, negative thinking, or your own bad habits are holding you back, and you need to break free from the cycle of self-doubt, or fear, or addiction, or procrastination. St. Benedict has been known to help those who need to overcome self-created or self-perpetuated blockages as well.
He was known for his austerity and fervor, so the old adage “helping those who help themselves” comes into play here – don’t expect him to do *all* the work. But if you’re willing to put in the effort and the faith, he can be a powerful ally as you strive to overcome blockages and setbacks in your life and reorient yourself to a positive and healthy direction informed by conscious, deliberate choices.
He can help you close the door on an era of living in constant reaction mode and open a new one onto a life of greater agency and autonomy where you’re holding the reins (though you might expect St. Benedict to gently remind you from time to time that God’s will is pretty important in the big picture, too 🙂 )
St. Joseph’s intercession is sought to help with all kinds of matters relating to home, family, and jobs/business. He can be called upon to help you sell your house, help you remodel, and to help carpenters and others who work with their hands. He’s particularly known for going to bat for fathers, though he absolutely is an ally for mothers as well (and speaking as someone who was a single mother with sole custody for 18 years who never received a cent of child support, if you’re wearing all the parenting hats at once, St. Joseph is definitely your friend – he will help any parent, foster parent, or caregiver who is struggling to provide for children).
He’s also the patron saint of travelers, immigrants, workers, and families, and he’s called on to ensure a happy death.
Have a vigil light set on my St. Joseph altar with your private petition/intention during the upcoming community altar work service on the 19th. You can also opt to have a customized St. Joseph paket made during the service to be shipped after its conclusion. Learn more or join up at the Seraphin Station shop.
Have a glass-encased vigil light fixed, dressed, blessed, set on my altars, and burned continuously for you in a community altar work service for this upcoming new moon in Pisces.
Lights will be set the night of Saturday, March 13th. There is some wiggle room and you can join up after the work starts as long as you see that there are still spots left and it doesn’t say “sold out.”
Finally, after a royally crappy 2020, which was marked by some unusual astrology among a lot of other unusual things, the clouds are parting, astrologically speaking. And this upcoming new moon is a really good time, finally, to tackle some new stuff, or at least to start to articulate some plans, set some goals. And that’s what this light setting service is for, to help you articulate where you’d like to go next and what you’d like to bring with you – into the next moon phase, short-term, but really also into this whole next lunar cycle that this new moon in Pisces is introducing – the next chapter of your life, extrapolated.
So you can think about Pisces-related short-term goals for this vigil light service, what you’d like to focus on for the next month. But you can also think about longer-term goals and trajectories – where would you like to be in six months when the full moon is in Pisces? What about 2.5 years at the end of this lunar cycle we’re about to begin this coming weekend?
And you can think about how you personally are likely to experience this particular new moon energy over the coming days and weeks depending on where the Pisces new moon is transiting the houses in your natal chart landscape.
Pisces is a sign of vivid imagination, altruism, creativity, receptiveness, inspiration, even mysticism and psychic vision. This new moon is about inspiration and, frankly, hopes and dreams. I am totally aware of how cheesy this sounds, but I’m typing it because I’m serious. So if 2020 left you with a bucketful of hopes deferred, this could be a good time to take those out, dust them off, and see what you want to get going again.
It’s also a great occasion for any intentions/petitions related to psychic awareness or intuitive capacities, plus creativity and inspiration more broadly. It’s a great lunar energy for leaps of faith and for pursuing dreams, and for launching any kind of artistic endeavor — or study of the mystical or occult.
It can give you a boost if you’re dealing with issues related to love, compassion, empathy, forgiveness, or emotional stability, if there are things you need to process and let go of. Healing of old emotional wounds is a huge theme here and would be a great focus for this service. So would taking advantage of the Venus/Neptune energy right now to go after what you *really* hope for and dream of in your love life, on the off chance there’s any room for improvement 🙂
And it’s a good time if you’re ready to set some limits to enforce your personal boundaries and personal time/space – if you’re ready to speak up and speak out, and/or put your foot down, about areas where someone is taking advantage of you, steamrolling over your feelings and needs, or taking you for granted. New moon in Pisces goals might include getting reacquainted with the sound of your own strong voice if it’s been a while since you’ve heard it.
Now those of you who’ve been customers/clients for a while know I don’t usually incorporate astrology into my day-to-day conjure altar work. If I need to set a protection light, I’m gonna light the candle. I’m not gonna stop and check an ephemeris first and figure out whether the moon is void of course or what is retrograde.
But sometimes, if it’s something really special or really timely, if it fits in with my schedule otherwise, I will work with an eye towards the astrology. For instance, I can only make my Sanguis Veneris oil and powder once a year when the astrology is right. Miss the window, none of that formulation gets made that year. And the Great Conjunction in December 2020? I’d call that one once-in-a-lifetime – once in *more* than one lifetime, in fact. I can never make the talismans or sacramentals I made that day again.
So it’s not true that I simply ignore astrology. I just *usually* ignore astrology lol…but it’s been pretty important lately, way more than usual, from where I’m sitting.
Please note that community altar work services do not come with individual readings/reports, though I will post at least one photo of the work to the Discord “forum,” which you’ll receive an invitation to after you book, and via email after the work’s complete.
Vigil light setting service – a fixed, dressed, blessed vigil light candle set with your petition/intention along with other community members’ candles, all of which will be burned, tended, and worked until their wax is consumed. Commercial vigil candles these days generally burn for about five days, though burn time can vary depending on a number of factors. I need your date, time, and place of birth along with your one- or two-sentence petition or intention.
Light setting withnatal chart help – if you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about when I talk about where the new moon is hitting your natal chart but you want to know, I will cast your chart and break this down for you as part of your new moon service. Note this is NOT an expansive natal chart reading or analysis – you don’t want me to do that anyway. There are much better people for the job. Let me stick with cartomancy lol… but I can explain the moving parts to you in terms of how this new moon energy might be personal to *you* and not just general to everybody on the planet, tell you where things are with your transits, and send you a printable reference of the placements in your chart. I need your date, time, and place of birth along with your petition for your vigil light setting.
Light setting with reading at conclusion of service – If you want space to talk more about what you have going on, how things are looking at the conclusion of the service, and what your best approaches are going to be going forward, I will combine the usual ceromancy, or reading your vigil light candle (flame behavior, wax formations, etc.) with other appropriate methods of divination to do a reading or consultation for you on the issue your light setting service was focused on. This will be via email or (probably asynchronous) text/chat.
Light setting with natal chart help *and* reading at conclusion of service. All of the above.
